I have a client who has a website that sells alcoholic beverages and google ads doesn’t allow ads for alcohol sale in that specific country.

In the ads i am not using any prohibited keywords or words that refer to alcohol but still status shows up as “Approved (limited)” so that it can be showed only to people interested in the specific country not to the people in that country.

Is there a workaround to that? Is google ads scanning the landing page and picking up those forbidden keywords from there? Should I craft a specific landing page where there should be no words referring to alcohol or will that be a waste of time?

I see lot of competitors ads though…
